Safety is our number one priority

Over the last three years we have worked hard to reduce the average number of injuries resulting in time off work each year to less than 9 by concentrating on staff education, training and improving our safety management systems.

 

Community engagement

In the community area we support Kids Teaching Kids as the official transport partner. Kids Teaching Kids offers teachers, students and schools the chance to work together and identify simple solutions to often complex local environmental challenges. As part of this partnership, we launched the Veolia Transdev Travel Fund which assists students with travel costs associated with attending either the state or national conference. We have also launched the annual Veolia Transdev poster competition which challenges students to explore the positive environmental impacts of choosing public transport over private passenger vehicles. This year’s theme was designing “the ultimate public transport vehicle”.
